  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Cutting board

Method

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cranberries, red onion, orange juice, cilantro, jalapeños, honey (or maple syrup), lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Gently stir to combine all ingredients. Make sure the cranberries are evenly distributed.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. You may want more honey for sweetness or more jalapeño for heat.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. The longer it sits, the better it tastes! (Up to 2 days)
  6. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, pork tenderloin, grilled chicken, or your favorite protein.

Notes

For a smoother salsa, you can pulse the ingredients in a food processor until coarsely chopped. Consider adding other ingredients like chopped pecans or a pinch of cinnamon for added depth of flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
