  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 Taco seasoning packet
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 15 ounce can Black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 15 ounce can Corn drained
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Green onions chopped
  • 1 Avocado diced
  • Tortilla chips for serving
  • Optional toppings shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, jalapeños

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid is mostly absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the black beans and corn. Mix well to combine.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a serving bowl.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and diced avocado.
  6. Arrange optional toppings such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and jalapeños around the dip for a spooky presentation.
  7. Serve immediately with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture. You can also use different types of cheese, such as Monterey Jack or pepper jack. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
