- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.

- Transfer the beef mixture to a serving bowl.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and diced avocado.
- Arrange optional toppings such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and jalapeños around the dip for a spooky presentation.

Notes
For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture. You can also use different types of cheese, such as Monterey Jack or pepper jack. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
