Crust Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 14 ounces Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup Whipped cream Optional
  • 2 tablespoons Chocolate shavings Optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until evenly moistened.
  2. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  3. Let the crust cool completely.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  7. Before serving, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet. You can also add a pinch of espresso powder to the filling for an extra depth of flavor. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
