  • 1 pound Fresh Green Beans trimmed
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) Cream of Mushroom Soup condensed
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup French Fried Onions

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Trim the ends of the green beans and place them in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the soup mixture over the green beans in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the green beans are tender.
  5. Stir in half of the French fried onions during the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
  6. Top with the remaining French fried onions during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can use homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add other vegetables, such as mushrooms or carrots. For a crispier topping, add the French fried onions in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
