- Trim the ends of the green beans and place them in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the soup mixture over the green beans in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the green beans are tender.
- Stir in half of the French fried onions during the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
- Top with the remaining French fried onions during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can use homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add other vegetables, such as mushrooms or carrots. For a crispier topping, add the French fried onions in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
