Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
- In a medium bowl, toss the pumpkin seeds with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings (garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon). Ensure the seeds are evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned pumpkin seeds in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; work in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 8-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer and desired level of crispiness.
- Keep a close eye on them after 8 minutes, checking for doneness. The seeds should be golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove the pumpkin seeds from the air fryer and let them cool completely on a wire rack or paper towel-lined plate. This helps them crisp up further.
- Store your crispy pumpkin seeds in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or other spices. You can also roast these in the oven at 300°F for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, if you don't have an air fryer.
