  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 1/2 cups French Fried Onions

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the drained green beans, softened cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the cream cheese is fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the green bean mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Evenly top with 1 1/2 cups of French fried onions.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly, and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let the casserole stand for a few minutes before serving to allow it to slightly cool and set.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add a pinch of nutmeg or thyme for extra warmth. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
