- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the dressing.
- Gently fold in the halved tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, or olive oil to your preference.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use fresh basil pesto instead of just chopped basil. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or cucumbers. Consider adding grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
