  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • 8x8 inch baking dish

Method

Instructions
  1. Combine sweetened condensed milk and butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until butter is melted and mixture is smooth.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning. The mixture will thicken slightly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Gradually add powdered sugar and flour, mixing until a smooth dough forms. Ensure there are no lumps.
  5. Stir in rainbow sprinkles, if desired.
  6. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides. Press the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use browned butter. You can also substitute other sprinkles or add chopped nuts.
