  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 14 ounces Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce can
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts optional
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Zest optional, adds a bright citrusy note

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. An electric mixer can be used for easier mixing.
  3. Beat in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined. If using, stir in the orange zest.
  4. Gently stir in the cranberry sauce until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  5. If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
  6. Pour the mixture into an 8x8 inch greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and bubbly around the edges. Do not overbake.
  8. Let the dip cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with crackers, graham crackers, pretzels, or your favorite chips.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
