  • 2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 pound Pork Sausage Browned and drained
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Egg Lightly beaten

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off excess grease.
  3. Add the cooked sausage to the large bowl. Add Bisquick, milk, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and beaten egg.
  4. Gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls using a cookie scoop or your hands.
  6. Place the sausage balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each ball.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped green onions. These sausage balls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
