  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 4 ounces Pimentos jar, drained and chopped
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Milk or Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper optional
  • to taste Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese. Mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  2. Add the drained pimentos, mayonnaise, milk (or buttermilk), yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Gently stir until creamy and well combined. Again, avoid overmixing.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Start with a small amount and adjust as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings. Add more mayonnaise for creamier texture, or more mustard/Worcestershire for extra flavor.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier pimento cheese, add more cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce. You can also add chopped jalapeƱos or other finely diced vegetables for extra texture and flavor. This pimento cheese is delicious served with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
